This page collects every Sooner Standards resource on data collection, classification, charts and data privacy, organized by grade, with Oklahoma OAS-CS and Texas TEKS editions marked.<\/p>\n<h2>The Skills These Resources Build<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Collecting data:<\/strong> from daily observations in Kindergarten and Grade 1 to numerical and non-numerical data in Grades 2 through 4.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Classifying data:<\/strong> telling numerical from non-numerical, and searching for it with keywords.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Charting and answering questions:<\/strong> turning data into a chart and the chart into an answer.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Where data lives and who can see it:<\/strong> storage, publishing and digital privacy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How the Skills Progress<\/h2>\n<p>Kindergarten starts with what data is, and Grades 1 and 2 collect it every day. Grades 3 and 4 collect numerical data, classify it, search for it, and turn it into charts. By Grades 6 and 8 the questions shift to where data is stored, how it is typed, published, and turned into a finished product.
