1. "If a program runs without crashing, it must be correct."<\/strong><\/p>\n
Return to the definition of a logic error in paragraph 4 \u2014 a program can run perfectly and still produce the wrong answer. Have students trace a small loop that runs one time too many to see a 'working' program give a wrong result.<\/p>\n
2. "Testing a few typical, middle-range values is enough to prove a program works."<\/strong><\/p>\n
