Currently Matt Cole is working full-time as a Project Management Analyst for one of the top five healthcare companies. He has worked in Information Technology for over twenty-five years, building, supporting, and leading projects. Over the years, Matt Cole has dedicated a significant amount of time to both his work and family life. As a parent, he has been able to experience both homeschooling and public schooling, giving him unique insights into the strengths and weaknesses of each approach. In addition to his parenting responsibilities, he has also been an active member of his community, serving on the Parent Teachers Association (PTA) and as an elected local School Board representative for a five-year term.
Through these various roles, Matt has come to understand the critical importance of a child’s ability to think critically and adapt to new situations. He has seen firsthand how the education system can fail students and families, and how challenging it can be for individuals to regain their confidence and catch up to the expected level of knowledge when this happens.
In addition to his experience as a parent and community member, Matt Cole also has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry with one of the top leading companies, Universal Health Services. As a healthcare professional, he has seen firsthand how critical thinking, adaptability, resilience, and the ability to relearn are essential skills for success.
Matt’s goal is to share his experience and knowledge with others, in the hopes of helping families and students navigate these challenges more successfully. He believes that by promoting critical thinking skills and a willingness to adapt and learn, individuals can better prepare themselves for success in today’s rapidly changing world
Throughout his career in healthcare, Matt has worked in a variety of roles, from patient care to project management and administration. He has witnessed the impact that changes in healthcare policies and technologies can have on both patients and healthcare providers. Through it all, he has remained committed to providing high-quality care and advocating for the needs of patients and families.
Matt’s experience in healthcare has further strengthened his belief in the importance of critical thinking and adaptability, not just in the healthcare industry, but in all areas of life. He understands the importance of being able to learn new skills and adapt to changing circumstances, whether you’re a healthcare provider, a student, a parent, or a community member.
By combining his experience in healthcare with his knowledge of education and community engagement, Matt brings a unique perspective to the challenges facing individuals and families today.
